This unit is designed to be a cost
effective pharma code reader and
can run up to 4 heads. The basic
model has configurable external
triggers or head reads and result
outputs. The 4 result outputs can
be the last good result high or a
timed pulse output.
Additional outputs are provided to
indicate:
•System OK
•Programming mode
•Head or heads in by-pass
Real time visualisations and head
counts are provided to ease setup
and operational diagnostics.
BAR CODE
This unit only reads pharma codes.
Pharmacode can represent a single integer
from 7 to 131069. Unlike other commonly used
one-dimensional barcode schemes, PCR 2020
does not store the data in a form corresponding
to the human-readable digits; the number is
encoded in binary, rather than decimal.
